Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She was the first female to win in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her the rest of her family, was birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. As a exercising enthusiast since an early age, she took part in a variety of school sports and was awarded numerous medals. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. As a result of her exceptional performance, she managed to win her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie became the very first woman to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and most recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other brands.
