She was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June 28, 1986 Pickler was a difficult childhood. It was when she was two that her mother abandoned her to get away from an unfaithful relationship. Then she returned to Pickler's world in 1995 when she took custody of her. However it did not go well. At the age of 12, the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler had too many things to do being a mom in the absence of her parents. Pickler admitted that she had no time to read and began learning the art of being a mom from a very young age. Pickler took part in cheerleading activities at both her high and middle schools.
