Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actress. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has performed on WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. Her film debut came through the crime movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She was quite appreciated. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. She appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama that followed her initial success. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film of all-time. Despite a budget of only one million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. In the meantime the actress began appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show premiered in April of 1980. show began to air. The show was designed for young people. She also appeared on other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about the superhero X-Men where she is in a role as a guest. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances among them the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
