Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 201, she made her debut as an actor in an Australian soap-opera called Home and Away. She played a small role in just two episodes. The casting agent wished to have her play one of the main parts. Although she did try out to play the part, she wasn't chosen. Instead, she was cast in the show as Cassie Turner. The character is disturbed girl in foster care. Her performance was highly praised by the viewers and the public for her character. The actress reprised her character in the role of Donna Martin in Beverly Hills 90210's spin-off, Beverly Hills 90210: The Spinoff.
